I have built lifeSTYLE Concrete Coating on a foundation of safety, concern for the environment, and sustainable green building practices. I owe this focus to the years I spent with a major multi-national chemical company in the Construction Chemicals division.

Since I come from "inside" the construction products industry I have the materials knowledge and perspective that competitors don't regarding what products are best-suited to a given application, and what the advantages and disadvantages are for a particular chemistry. I know the codes and standards, as well as the standards-setting organizations, the industry experts and major players in each field, the history of each technology, and the specific techniques used by professionals such as how to evaluate and assess concrete problems.

CTI's only business is decorative concrete. For me (and you) they represent a "turnkey" solution of excellent products backed up by 24/7 technical support. Many competitors are contractors who buy from building products distributors who buy, in turn, from manufacturers who don't specialize in decorative concrete products, but rather private label someone else's products. No part of their supply chain actually specializes in decorative concrete, and when problems arise the result is a lot of finger pointing because no one wants to take responsibility.

Finally, where some competitors try to cut corners in important areas like surface preparation, I know from experience that 90% of the success and longevity of an installation is in the preparation of the concrete slab before the application of the decorative surface.
